The Gaiman Rundown

October 27th, 2007

In anticipation of Neil Gaiman’s second visit to the Philippines, I thought I’d make a quick rundown of his works that I read or own. Most of these, I downloaded as e-books or .CBRs, while some were borrowed from friends. Coraline is the only book that I physically have, and I was too shy to ask him to sign it the first time he went here. I was there, though, in Gateway Mall outside Fully Booked. I got a quick glimpse of Neil, but what’s really interesting were his fans. I still remember a guy who looked liked Dream walking with a girl who looked like Death. It was like they came out of the pages of Sandman. Now that was fun.

On to the list! If you’re a Gaiman fan, tell me about your collection. ;)

Comics

  • - The Sandman Series (from Bidshot, complete scanned JPEGs)
  • - Death: The High Cost of Living (c/o Kiri)
  • - Marvel: 1602 (c/o Celine)
  • - Murder Mysteries (c/o Celine)
  • - The Last Temptation (c/o Celine)

Books

  • - American Gods (e-book)
  • - Stardust (e-book)
  • - Coraline (paperback)
  • - Neverwhere (e-book)
  • - Smoke and Mirrors (e-book)
  • - Wolves in the Walls (c/o Celine)

If you’d like copies of the e-books, just ask. ;)

EDIT: (3/10/08) Anyone looking for the ebooks, just click on the links above. If you’re looking to thank me, well you can just click on any of the ads on this site. I’d appreciate that.

Hey, I’ve been trying desperatly to find Stardust as an ebook - I’ve just watched the movie and really liked it. I’ve only read Neverwhere (great), American Gods (soso) and Good Omens (great fun) and would love to read the original story of Stardust. And I can’t find it on any torrent website - what a shame! Anyway, it would be so great if you could send me a copy of the ebook!
    Thanks!
    Sasa

Hi Faiz. You can download the whole Sandman series as scanned pics (JPEG format) in torrent sites. Try to go to www.mininova.org and seach for “neil gaiman sandman”. You have to install a torrent program to download it, though. I recommend BitLord. It’s free. ;)
