Kung paano lumalamon ang sistema

Found this while weighing whether I should buy a folding bike or a scooter. I guess incompetence and injustice is everywhere.
This is not to show how helpless we all are, because we’re not. It illustrates the need to be vigilant and to form/join groups that will be stronger than any of us individually in seeking change. Perhaps they can bully one person, but not a hundred, or a thousand. Never under estimate the collective voice.

“after a long series of visits to LTO TAS and contemplating on filing a complaint against the adjudication officer for his incompetence in giving me a timely decision, i have met the end of it all.
as what i’ve mentioned in the other thread, i badly need my ID. my new employer asks for 2 valid IDs this week to include me in their payroll just in time for christmas, and all i have are my license and my previous emp’s ID.
aside from the pressure coming from the future wifey to finish this long process, i don’t think my new employer would love the idea of giving me unnecessary leaves as well.
so i went to LTO as early as 8:30 in the morning. the guard said the TAS officer would entertain my case at 2 pm. i told the guard that i’ve been going in and out of his office since september and i don’t have the time to wait for 2 pm. at around 930, ive met with the TAS dude. here’s what happened in my conversation with him:
majongero (m): sir, good morning. ako po yung may complaint sa motor.
LTO officer (LO): o anong gagawin natin dyan?
di na ako makasagot. di ko na alam gagawin ko. if i filed another complaint against the LTO officer, it’s going to be another long road for me. like what i’ve said, i just don’t have that luxury right now.
m: wala na po ba ibang paraan? baka pwede nyo po pag-aralan yung mga dokumentong ipinasa ko?
LO: mahabang proseso pa yan, e. iurong mo na lang.
i gave my ticket to the officer. it cost me more more than 200 pesos: 150 for the violation, 54 pesos for the computer fee. 10 pesos for some legal bruhaha.
i’ve resigned. i apologize to those who went out of their way to assist me on this case.

I’m bored and I thought it would be a bad way to kill time to Google my forum nickname. But yeah, I found myself here.
Buy yourself a scooter.
The world (or at least this country) looks a lot different on two wheels.
And about my LTO story… I choose not to say anything about it anymore.

I already did, actually. Shortly before the New Year I bought a 2nd hand Honda Dio 2. Currently trying to “pimp it up” in my garage. I didn’t know a thing about scooters when I got it, but kmhanley from MCP helped me understand the basics. Cool guy.
BTW, my forum name is scout_finch. Thanks for the comment above. ^^ Still not that good in riding, though.
