Free Online Comics: WASTED by Gerry Alanguilan

Celine made a paper on Gerry Alanguilan for a school project, so her copy of WASTED was lying around her room. It’s an old copy bought way back in 2002 for P100. I’m not sure if it’s still available in comics shops or specialty bookstores, but Gerry was kind enough to upload the entire series on Webcomics Nation, where you can read it for free.

I read it in one sitting. It was that engaging. Kinda hard to put something down if the main protagonist is going on a murderous rampage. Eric is guilty of commiting what the French would call “crimes of passion”. The violence is nothing but a cry of pain exploding, seeking release. I guess I liked the story because at one point in my life, I lost someone and I almost slipped into the dark side. But then that’s all for another day…
