Hahaha. My uncle went through that exact same situation. After a round of antibiotics, he went back to eating street food with relish. Tigas ng ulo. Haha.

Hehe kahit kumain tayo ng fishballs sa UP mga one month after. Sabi naman ni Teta na yung friend niyang nagka-amoebiasis kumakain pa rin ng fishablls sa UP. Kasi malinis naman daw. Hehehehe.

kahit may mangyari rin sa kin hindi ko yata kayang alisin sa sistema ko ang kwek-kwek. at the most, gagawa na lang ako ng kwek-kwek sa bahay.

hehehe…btw, ano nga pala ang kwek-kwek? sensha na di ko na inabutan ito eh…
ang paboritong bilihan nga pala namin noong mid 90’s ay dun sa may malapit sa waiting shade sa KRH…i wonder kung nagtitinda pa rin sila doon?

i’ll stick to poisonjin’s definition of kwek-kwek: “fried breaded boiled quail eggs”. and, may i add, it’s usually orange in color. i’m not sure if they use artificial coloring the breading or what. there are also variants that use chicken’s eggs. i prefer to eat it by dipping it in spicy vinegar, but i’m sure other condiments are applicable, depending on one’s taste.
btw, what’s KRH?

ah,,kwek-kwek pala yung orange na yun na nasa stick. masubukan nga pag-uwi. kala ko kasi ano yun, piniritong orange na kalamay…hahaha,,,ang layo. krh,,,kalayaan res hall.

uhh..ayaw ako patikimin ng nanay ko ng streetfoods..ang ginagawa nya, siya ang nagluluto..pati yung sawsawan..ang sarap!!! waaaa~kaya ayun..nasanay ako na di kumakain ng streetfoods kasi kami kami na rin yung gumagawa eh..lalo na yang kwek kwek ^^

ah, magaling ang nanay mo! at least you get the best of both worlds. pag-aaralan ko na rin gumawa ng batter para sa kwek-kwek. yum!

pangarap ko rin gumawa ng sauce. gusto ko yung medyo maanghang.
baka merong recipe sa Internet. maganda yun kasi at least sigurado ka na malinis.
